Tata Harper Be Adored lip treatment

I have been using Tata Harper Be Adored for a few weeks now. You can read my first impressions here.

There is just something about Tata Harper's products that keep drawing me to them. The price point is so high and I don't even know if it is that ingredients that are so expensive or the mark up is huge, what ever it is, unfortunately for me I actually like this lip balm.

Be Adored is very lightly tinted, just a hint of rose colour, it is not a sort of product that will stay all day, it is a lip balm with a hint of colour (I do wish it had a bit more pigment). What got me hooked is the smell. Just like a delicious fruity tea, I have gone a bit weird and was sitting there sniffing it for a good few minutes (all for the sake of the review of course). I do tend to apply it about as often as my other lip balms so about 3-4 times a day, but my lips feel more hydtrated when I use this.

I find the texture to be really unusual, it is light but not thin like my hurraw balms, and if I apply a little extra to get more colour it feels almost a little jelly like, similar to a lip gloss yet it is not at all sticky. And it makes lips feel really plump.

I adore how the packaging looks, really stylish but like I mentioned in my first impressions my one only pushes upwards not down, so I make sure to only extend it a little at a time.

It has become the lip balm that I reach for the most (at first it was because it smells so good, now it is because of how good my lips feel). So yeah it will be getting repurchased once I run out (I think I can hear my wallet crying in the corner). For me this is an indulgence rather than a necessity, but I have not a lip balm quiet this good before.

  1. I was really eager to try this lip plumper out, the ingredients sound 'intricate' and great. I have never heard of them being used in a lip treatment before. The price is in the same range with RMS and Ilia lip treatments, but sounds like you get more bang for the buck with this one.

    I thought I would see a more colour pay-off though :(

    1. Yeah I thought so too, especially since it looks so intense in the tube! But otherwise it is a great treatment x

  2. Tata harper keeps coming up as a brand that I need to try, this looks nice shame it is not more pigmented but I am intrigued by the ingredients. x

    1. Well if you do decide to try them I suggest to get the mini set from naturisimo, not all the products worked for me but the ones that did were very good x

  3. I've never heard of this brand before, but I quite like the subtle effect it seems to have. Will have to investigate. (I adore Hurraw! too.)
